I bought this belt at REI earlier this year and it is indeed comfortable but if I’m doing anything active (work, hiking) I find the belt slips in the buckle and slackens. Yesterday I felt my pants drooping and, when I looked down, the belt had backed almost all the way out and I had a good 6” of extra loop hanging. When I’m hiking, I find I have to pull the belt tight every 15 minutes or so. I’m not exactly svelte but I‘m not big, either (35” waist”). Any suggestions for fixing this or should I just return it? It’d be a shame because it is a comfortable belt when it’s doing its job but for $35 I want a little better performance. View answer
