Hi,
Following our fit guide you should be in the correct length belt our "standard" length is for waist sizes 24"-36" you can see this on our Fit Guide. The "slim" versions of our belts are the same length but a narrower width belt for smaller belt loops. So I would not suggest a slim belt but what I would suggest is cutting your belt to a shorter length with a pair of scissors then using a lighter to finish the rough end like you would with a strap etc. You can essentially shorten any of our belts like this to remove the excess "tail" that is getting in your way.
Please note that cutting the belt to a shorter length will not be covered by our warranty. Our warranty will still extend to the rest of the belt like if you had an issue with the buckle or stitching etc. But you would not be able to return/exchange/warranty it for being too short. So if you decide to go this route please measure twice and cut once.
