Hi, yes you can. We do not suggest that as it will cut off the sewn tail end which could cause the belt to feed poorly through the buckle. That said you could melt the frayed end with a lighter. Please note cutting the end of the belts tail will void the warranty on the belt tail but the warranty would remain in place for any other manufacturing defects.
